About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our Renal Department. This senior nursing role provides clinical coordination, leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care. Position Description: Clinical Nurse Coordinator About the Team/Service/ Location The Renal Department provides specialist care and support to people living with kidney disease across Tairāwhiti. For more information on living and working in Gisborne click here More information about our Region see here About you You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. We are looking for someone who has: Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC) NZQA Postgraduate Certificate (or equivalent) and working towards a Postgraduate Diploma PDRP Proficient level and working towards Designated Senior Nurse level 3-5 years recent clinical nursing experience with demonstrated leadership within a nursing team Excellent communication, coordination, critical thinking and problem-solving skills A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving Māori health outcomes The ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and health services Strong organisational and digital technology skills Renal nursing knowledge and experience would be highly advantageous.
