About the Role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join ourMedical Day Unit where you will be an integral part of our dedicatedmultidisciplinary team and passionate about delivering high-quality nursingcare to our patients.
Shifts are rostered between Monday and Friday withstart times of 7:30am 8:30am and 9:30am.
About the Service
The Medical Day Unit specialises in the care andsupport of medical patients referred from a variety of internal medicinespecialities. These include Haematology Gastroenterology ImmunologyNeurology Rheumatology and Primary Care. While the unit is primarily now aninfusion centre we also provide pre and post care for some of our patients whoare having a small range of procedures. It is a fast-paced unit so the abilityto manage pressure is essential.
About You
You will have the demonstrated ability to work bothautonomously and collaboratively with other professionals. With excellent timemanagement interpersonal and organisational skills you will have the abilityto be adaptable flexible and solution focused.
- Committed to providing a consistently high standard of patient care.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday and selected Public Holidays
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
- Motivated shows initiative and is a flexible self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
