The work spans light to heavy fabrication across a range of specialised and varied scopes. You need to be able to work from drawings and without drawings, take initiative, and deliver quality without being managed step by step. Day to day you will be: Fabricating and welding across vacuum trucks, Rock Tamers, crane grillages, and other crane apparatus Carrying out modification and repair work across a broad range of transport, construction, and domestic client equipment Welding across stainless steel and aluminium as well as mild steel across varied fabrication scopes Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and working from verbal instructions where drawings are not available Carrying out occasional on‑site welding and fabrication when required at customer locations Taking ownership of your work and maintaining quality without close supervision Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 4:30pm with a 3:30pm Friday finish. Optional Saturday mornings from 7am to 11am are available for those who want extra hours. If you are an experienced fabricator, welder fabricator, or trade‑qualified boilermaker from a heavy engineering, transport, agricultural, or mining fabrication background, this role is worth a serious look.
