Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Projects | Auckland Auckland | Leading Consultancy | Complex & High-Value Projects Be part of the next generation of Data Centre Development Glasshouse Recruitment is working with a leading consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Auckland team, working on major data centre projects . This is an exciting opportunity for a proven QS who enjoys working on technically complex, high-value projects and wants to be involved in a sector experiencing significant growth. You will play a key role in providing commercial and cost advice across the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced project professionals, clients, consultants and contractors. The opportunity Your responsibilities will include: Cost planning and feasibility studies Estimating and budget development Procurement and tender management Contract administration and commercial management Cost reporting, forecasting and financial control Variations, claims and commercial risk management Value engineering and cost optimisation Client and stakeholder management What we're looking for I'm keen to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyors who have a proven background managing complex projects and are ready to take their experience into the rapidly developing data centre sector. You will ideally have: Strong Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy/PQS environment Proven experience working across complex and high-value projects Excellent technical and commercial QS knowledge Strong cost planning, procurement and contract administration skills The ability to manage sophisticated clients and multiple project stakeholders Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A commercially astute and solutions-focused approach Relevant NZ or international qualifications/membership Data centre experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential . Experience across other complex, services-heavy environments such as commercial, healthcare, industrial, pharmaceutical or other technically demanding projects will also be highly relevant.
