About the Role Are you an organised and compassionate administrator who enjoys bringing people and processes together? We're looking for an enthusiastic Administration Support person to join the gender affirming genital surgery team working in National Office. At the heart of the team is a new role to coordinate the administration as the Service enters a new phase of development. Your administration and coordination skills will play an important part in helping make this happen. You will help keep the referral process running smoothly, develop processes to enhance efficiency and support a variety of stakeholders working within the Service. You will be part of a collaborative team initiating improvements to create a more connected and responsive Service. We have a position available working 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) based at our Wellington office. About the Service The National Clinical Leadership team comprises the National Clinical Chiefs, Pacific Health, National Clinical Networks, Quality and Patient Safety, Safe Staffing Healthy Workplaces and the Resident Doctor Support Services teams. This role is located in the Clinical Leadership Office, who provide support across the wider team in the areas of government services, executive and board level requirements (including reporting), project and programme management and oversight of the team's wider work programme. About You You'll be someone who combines excellent administration and coordination skills with a warm, compassionate and people focused approach. You'll enjoy connecting with a wide range of people, including healthcare professionals, referrers, and National Office management. You'll be confident managing information and keeping things organised in a busy and evolving environment. We're looking for someone who: * Has strong administration, organisation and coordination skills * Communicates clearly and confidently with a diverse range of people * Builds positive and respectful relationships * Can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail * Is flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving environment * Uses initiative and can think creatively to find solutions and keep things moving * Works collaboratively and enjoys being part of a supportive team * Knowledge of, or experience engaging with, transgender and non-binary communities would be highly regarded.
