Job descriptionEstablish and manage site-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems Lead inductions, audits, and HSE investigations Collaborate with the Construction Manager and project team to drive strong safety performance Monitor site training records and ensure continuous compliance Lead and mentor a small HSE team (2 Coordinators) Review subcontractor work packs to ensure compliance with safety legislation and site requirements Implement and maintain permit-to-work systems and plant inductions Level 6 Health & Safety qualification, plus ICAM and ESC training Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure or heavy construction environments Expert knowledge of the HSW Act 2015, RMA, and environmental compliance frameworks Practical experience in managing safety systems, audits, investigations, and risk control measures High-impact role on a major infrastructure project Opportunity to shape the safety and environmental culture across the project lifecycle Join a progressive project team that values safety as a core driver of success Competitive salary with long-term career development opportunities

You will be responsible for championing a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory and contractual HSE compliance from mobilisation through to project completion.
