Job descriptionPrevious experience in product design, UX / UI, and / or customer experience design and research Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suite) and research methodologies. The ability to articulate user experience and technical complexities into customer-led experiences that drive commercial outcomes. Experience in mapping and improving customer journeys by identifying pain points and key moments. Familiarity with tracking customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., NPS, CSAT) and using them to enhance engagement. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrate a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning; embody an MVP and test-and-learn mindset. A data driven mindset and experience in analyzing customer feedback from multiple sources (e.g., VOC reports, usability tests) to guide product improvements. Advocate for a customer-centric culture, fostering empathy and understanding of customer needs across the organisation. We’re looking for an experienced UX / CX designer to join us for a 10-month parental leave cover starting in January. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the role combines UX expertise with customer experience capability to drive product innovation across our two brands Airport Rentals & Motorhome Republic.
Key responsibilities include :
- Advocate for user-centered design practices across the organisation. Be the voice of the customer, ensuring their feedback informs product and design decisions across all teams.
- Support delivery of initiatives with UX design from discovery to delivery, working closely with in-house developers to implement designs.
- Produce high-quality designs aligned with usability, accessibility standards, ensuring all designs consistently meet brand guidelines.
- Apply appropriate UX research methods at each stage of the design process.
- Develop storyboards, wireframes, process flows, and interactive prototypes to test and validate new features.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer experience, sharing actionable insights with product teams and stakeholders.
