UX Researcher - Product & Strategy (Global Tech / APAC)

About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join our client’s product team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver user insights that shape product strategies and enhance experiences for millions of users across global markets. You’ll apply a mix of qualitative and mixed research methods to guide design, product direction, and business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and data teams to define impactful research goals with a focus on the APAC region.
- Design and execute end‑to‑end research studies using various methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, fieldwork, and concept validation.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product and business strategies.
- Represent the voice of users and advertisers, especially in the APAC market, ensuring their needs are reflected in product decisions.
- Manage multiple research projects, balancing quick‑turn deliverables with long‑term strategic studies.
- Collaborate with external research partners when additional capacity or local expertise is needed.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge‑sharing within the research team and across functional groups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, or Information Science.Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant behavioral or social science field.3+ years of experience conducting user or product research in an applied setting.5+ years of experience in applied UX or product research.Proven expertise in qualitative research techniques (e.g., user interviews, usability tests, concept testing).Strong communication and storytelling skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.Comfortable managing multiple projects in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.Demonstrated ability to turn insights into practical recommendations that inform strategy and design.Experience combining qualitative and quantitative research approaches.Background in digital marketing, advertising, or B2B product ecosystems.Proven ability to work with regional or international stakeholders and understand diverse market needs.Experience leading and managing external research vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.Interested candidates may apply through the application system.
