We’re looking for a creative, strategic and organised Social Media & Content Specialist to grow MOTAT’s audience and share the incredible technology and ingenuity stories of Aotearoa. If you’re passionate about content creation, bursting with ideas, and excited about storytelling possibilities, we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

• Plan, create, and deliver engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Craft compelling narratives that showcase MOTAT’s exhibitions, events, and heritage.
• Produce and edit photography and video content using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Manage a dynamic social media calendar and implement MOTAT’s social media strategy.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and champion audience-focused storytelling.
• Collaborate with a small, supportive team while managing tasks independently.
