About the role

As Operations Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the efficient running of our Hamilton branch operations. You’ll lead a large operational team, ensuring service levels are met, safety standards are upheld, and continuous improvement opportunities are realised. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic planning with daily operational demands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the distribution and fleet teams
• Ensure operational performance and service delivery targets are achieved
• Oversee depot and fleet operations
• Drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including contractors and customers

What we’re looking for

About You

People are at the heart of our business, and your leadership approach should be people first. Empathy and an ability to connect with people at different levels and from all backgrounds will serve you well in this role. An understanding of high‑volume, fast‑paced operational environments will be a key strength. Previous responsibility for managing operational costs is preferred, and you should be skilled at analysing data to find business insights.
