Based in Wellington, you will work with corporate directors Matthew Mallett, Daniel Croft, and Luke Walker who all have extensive national top-tier experience. You will be actively encouraged to build your profile, skill set and client base, with a genuine opportunity to progress to a director role in due course.

The position will have a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions. However, the successful candidate will also be encouraged and enabled to work across other corporate and commercial areas. You will bring experience and expertise with respect to all or some of the following areas :

  • mergers and acquisitions
  • corporate restructuring
  • joint ventures and strategic alliances
  • receiverships
  • shareholder arrangements
  • corporate governance

Responsibilities

This role focuses on mergers and acquisitions, with opportunities to work across other corporate and commercial areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of post-admission experience
  • Mergers and acquisitions experience
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work through complex issues with great organisational skills
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
  • Qualified in New Zealand or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with a strong academic record
  • Please note , while 3-8 PQE is the ideal range, those that have more or less experience will be considered.
