This Company is growing, and is open to GP / NP's who either would like additional contractual hours or secure perm part time hours to coordinate with their existing employment, or maybe you just want a new working arrangement - options to choose

What you can expect :

• Open to GP / NP candidates in Palmerston North who want additional hours
• Supportive Team Culture : Large team of GP's, Nurses, and support staff with GP's being Fellows of the Royal College
• Salary packages : GP : Salaries : $100- $160hr - NP's $95hr - $120hr - open to negotiate

What you have to do :

• Provide GP or NP Medical rounds for aged care residents, with the support of knowledgeable nursing teams
• Assess, treat / prescribe, give the nursing teams direction on residential care, refer when required
• Make consultative decisions with extended family and resident to ensure quality of life

What you have to have :

• Registered as a Nurse Practitioner with NZNC or
• GP with NZMC with right to practice in NZ
• Calm methodical work ethic and an inquiring mind set to provide consistent support to the older adult
• Medication Management
