Come and join our friendly diverse team of 41 Service Desk staff based in Porirua, Wellington.
Our Service Desk Analysts are professional and competent at resolving incidents and requests raised in our computing, application, radio, mobility and telephony environments via telephone, email or self-service portal.
To support our frontline police we operate a 24 / 7, 365 days a year service desk and are looking for motivated people to join our rotational rostered shifts.
This role can only be based at Royal New Zealand Police college in Porirua, Wellington. Permanent remote working is unavailable.

We are looking for a person with excellent customer service skills, basic IT knowledge and a passion to deliver world class service. People with hospitality, retail or other customer services work experience and are interested in IT are encouraged to apply. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticket-based software is preferred but not essential.
Whakaritenga motuhake | Special requirements
This role is based at RNZPC Porirua.
A full NZ Driver's License is essential, as you will be required to attend work on a 24x7 rostered basis at times when public transport may not be available.
Must be able to work 24 / 7 roster, weekends and public holidays included. Preferred shifts are not available as a permanent option.
Must be able to pass Police vetting and security clearance requirements.

Utu a-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
