Responsibilities

• Ensure Housekeeping Manager is kept fully aware of all relevant feedback from both guests and other departments.
• Assist other departments with activities as appropriate and directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Attend and participate in regular communication meetings and nominated training sessions.
• Have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and team members.
• Maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures in the Hotel.
• Use initiatives in assisting other team members while the business demand is low, proactively adding value to the hotel’s bottom line.
• Be able to build up strong rapport with team members, helping to improve the synergy in the department as well as in the hotel.
• Work as and enjoy being part of a team, pulling together to provide excellent service.
• Be fully aware of the hotel’s health and safety and fire regulations, and to carry them out according to procedures, ensuring that you maintain a comprehensive understanding and adhere to fire, safety and hygiene policies.
• Be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures.
