Kitchen Hand

V&V JV Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team in Bombay, Auckland.The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in basic food preparation in line with kitchen requirements, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Support cooks with tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and storing food items.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation, storage, and service areas.
• Handle receiving, unpacking, and proper storage of deliveries and supplies.
• Monitor stock of cleaning materials and assist with restocking as required.
• Remove rubbish, sweep, and mop floors to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Contribute to efficient workflow during busy periods by assisting the kitchen staff and the Store Manager.
• Perform other related duties as required.Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $23.50 to $25 per hour.Requirements for the Role :
• Availability to work weekends and late evening shifts.
• Prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide full training.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Good coordination and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
