Handyperson – Rosewood Cape Kidnappers – Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Rosewood Cape Kidnappers is located on the east of Hawke's Bay wine country, situated atop rolling hills and rugged cliffs that give way to vast sea views and an ever-present horizon.

The property features a lodge and spa, a world-class golf course, a working farm, and is ranked among the top two hotels in New Zealand and Australia by Travel + Leisure and among the top 20 worldwide by Conde Nast Traveller.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and detailed local knowledge.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will need to be willing and able to pull your sleeves up and get stuck into maintenance projects at the hotel and our staff accommodation block as they arise.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair work at the hotel and staff accommodation block as projects arise.

Support the team in ensuring a high-quality, superior customer experience.

Qualifications

Relevant maintenance / handyman experience.

Building and painting experience.

Clean New Zealand driver's licence for 2 years (essential) with a P endorsement (preferred).

Experience in a customer service role.

In-depth local knowledge (preferred).
