South Island Sales Manager

This role plays an integral and exciting part in bringing our vision to life. Driving the growth of our commercial and residential customer base.

You will be someone who enjoys developing and growing a sales team and leading them to success. You will be adept at leading by example and will eagerly front significant market opportunities when required.

The measures of success will be :

• Alignment with the regional operations team
• Achievement of monthly and annual sales revenue targets.
• Retention and growth of the existing customer base.
• Accuracy of forecasting and reporting.
• Team engagement, performance, and development outcomes.
• Customer satisfaction and contract renewal rates.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Sales Manager role where you have obtained a reputation for being a great leader and growing market share.
• Have managed a team of at least 5 direct reports previously.
• Experience in securing new business opportunities with large revenue values
• Strong ability to inspire, engage, and influence a sales team to success
• Extensive experience using CRM
• Proven experience in establishing a solid sales framework
• High levels of written & verbal communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrable experiences in tenders, RFP’s and associated contractual negotiation,

This role is Christchurch-based, will require some travel, and comes complete with a very competitive remuneration package including vehicle, incentive program, and other employee benefits.
