This is an Advanced Practitioner role with responsibility for in leadership in inpatient social work.The role will be working within our dynamic Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit (Te Whare Maiangiangi) at Tauranga HospitalThe successful applicant will join a growing and supportive allied health team, working closely alongside Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and OT assistant colleagues.
You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of Social Work services that will support the existing therapeutic inpatient program, and there will be opportunity and support to develop this further.
Key aspects of the role involving facilitating discharge planning with a range of specialist clinical teams and community services, promoting whanau inclusion in the care pathway, leading Safe-guarding Adult informed practices, and taking a key role within the Zero Seclusion project team.About the Team / Service / LocationThis role will be working in Te Whare Maiangiangi, our Adult Inpatient Unit at Tauranga hospital, where our clients are aged
