Connexionz Limited (NZX : CNX) is a publicly listed technology company delivering world‑class Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for the global public transport sector. With operations across New Zealand and the US, we are trusted by a loyal international customer base.

We're looking for a talented, proactive, and quality‑focused QA & Test Analyst to join our Christchurch‑based team.

In this role, you'll design, implement and own Connexionz testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring Connexionz' product quality is of the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Ensure software quality excellence by thorough and complete testing of new features and updates before release.

Specify standards, methods, and procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.

Develop and maintain detailed and well‑structured, project‑aligned, test plans.

Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases for cloud, mobile, and hardware integrated systems.

Implement testing process across databases, endpoints, product use scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, bug retests, or usability.

Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects early in the development cycle.

Design or develop automated testing tools, with a focus on automating test plans.

Investigate customer issues when requested.

Develop and maintain User Acceptance Testing plans.

Evaluate and recommend software for testing.

What we're looking for

A relevant tertiary degree.

5+ years' experience as a Test Analyst.

Hands‑on experience testing IoT, web, and mobile applications (iOS, Android).

Experience in developing web and API test automation.

Strong technical capability, including experience with DevOps, C#, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and Bash scripting.

Solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and the full software development lifecycle.

Good working knowledge of TestRail.

Familiarity with MS Office 365, Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA (highly desirable).
