Senior Architect

Archway Recruitment are working with a respected NZIA practice to appoint a Senior Architect in their Wellington studio. This firm has a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, contemporary architecture across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, education and civic projects. With a healthy pipeline of work and a collaborative team culture, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

This is a senior-level Registered Architect role suited to someone who enjoys working across all phases of design and delivery. You'll be involved in projects of varying scale and complexity, and have the opportunity to lead and mentor, engage with clients, and coordinate consultant teams. The practice values initiative, creativity and professionalism, and is looking for someone who brings a strong design sensibility and a proactive approach to leadership.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will

• Be a NZ Registered Architect with minimum 8+ years' experience
• Be confident managing projects independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
• Be proficient in ArchiCAD and other relevant design software
• Bring commercial awareness and ideally a network that can support business development
