Ruawai College is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of mathematics for this well established Department to help our learners thrive. We have a warm whānau environment inside beautiful school grounds and well resourced classrooms making Ruawai College an ideal place to teach.

Additional information :

• Applicants must be registered with the New Zealand Teaching Council
• The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216, depending on applicants' qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed
• We are an Accredited Employer for the Accredited Employer Work Visa School (AEWV)
• Please note that we have been advised that this role has been officially tagged as a hard-to-staff role and is therefore eligible for a Teacher Bonding Scheme
• Start date 28 January 2026
