We are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant in our General Surgical ward at The Wellington Hospital in London.
The unit provides care for pre- and post-operative patients across a full range of specialities : plastics and breast surgeries, colorectal, gynaecology, bariatric, ENT, upper GI, urology, vascular & general surgery.
You will be responsible for providing assistance to clinical staff, participating in the assessment of patient care needs and maintaining agreed standards of care under the supervision of the nursing team.
You will carry out clinical observations and assist staff and patients to deliver high levels of patient care, demonstrating excellent customer care skills.

Phlebotomy skills
Previous Healthcare Assistant experience within a hospital setting (essential)
