• Wednesday and Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
• Lower Ground Floor, Riverside, Christchurch Hospital
• 0.4 FTE Permanent position (16 hours per week)

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Child Health Outpatients team as a Healthcare Assistant.

Healthcare Assistants play a key role in the effective functioning of the ward. We have a high turnover of patients and work within a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to assist Nursing staff whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

About the Service

Child Health Outpatients operates Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm. We are a small cohesive team who look after Tamariki aged 0-16 years. Any procedure that doesn’t require an inpatient admission is done in Child Health Outpatients.

About you

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, team player and the ability to use their initiative. You will enjoy being busy and don't mind that the role can be at times be physically demanding.
