About the Role
Relationship Manager - Corporate Customer Banking | Invercargill | Full time, Permanent
You will be responsible for managing a dynamic portfolio of corporate customers, shaping their success through tailored banking and financial solutions.
Your ability to deeply understand each customer's industry, challenges and goals will enable you to provide customised support to help them achieve their business and financial ambitions.
You will operate in accordance with compliance, AML and CCCFA regulations.
Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of valuable customers, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to provide personalised banking solutions.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
Staying informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to provide strategic advice.
Our specialised Corporate Banking teams cover the following industry sectors :
Manufacturing and Wholesale Trade
Construction, Transport and Forestry
Health, Education, Local Government, Utilities and Infrastructure
Professional Services
Property Finance
Hospitality, Tourism and Retail Trade
We know that building and driving key relationships as well as executing the deal requires a team of great people to support you, so this role will see you have the support of a Relationship Associate and a Customer Support team as well as the top ranked product specialists in New Zealand.
What will you bring?
Skills
Strong Business / Corporate lending experience
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills combined with exceptional interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Sound knowledge of product & pricing, credit, and compliance
A growth mindset and ambition to grow and develop your corporate banking career
Highly developed business insight and acumen, effectively acting on and communicating your knowledge
A strong understanding of the corporate business sector
Prior exposure / market links into one or many industry sectors
