Trainee Cardiac Sonographer – Rotorua and Taupo Hospitals
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.
You will work Monday to Friday 8 : 00 to 16 : 30 performing scans, reviewing and reporting the images, participate in case discussions and training sessions while also working to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound. Travel to other Te Manawa Taki hospital sites may be required to experience work environments in both metro / tertiary and rural settings.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Clinical Physiology service at Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides a diagnostic service for patients requiring Cardiology, Respiratory and Neurological investigation. You would be joining a team of 12 physiologists, physiology technicians, trainee physiologists and physiology technicians, cardiac sonographers and trainee cardiac sonographers.
