About the role
As our Complaints Officer you’ll play an integral role in supporting our legal leam to deliver Engineering New Zealand’s complaints resolution service. You will be the first contact for all complaints, so your calm and collected temperament will be key, along with your ability to quickly connect with people and gain their trust.

To thrive in this role, you will relate well to people from all backgrounds and be able to de‑escalate situations with ease. You will be an attentive listener who ensures complainants feel heard and understood. You will enjoy working within clearly defined processes and have strong writing skills.
This role is well‑suited to a law student, or someone in a similar field, with an interest in regulation and professional discipline.
