Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.DesignationDESIGNATION : Production Manager, Current AffairsResponsibilitiesProduction leadership : Oversee pre-production, production and post across multiple titles; own day-to-day operations and escalate risks early.Budget & cost control : Build and manage detailed production budgets (multi-currency), cashflows and cost reports; track POs / invoices; drive savings without compromising quality.Scheduling : Create and maintain production, post and finishing schedules (offline / online, grade, mix, QC, delivery).

Vendor & crew management : Source, negotiate and manage vendors (crew, editors, colour, audio, VFX / graphics, archive, fixers).

Maintain a trusted roster of freelancers experienced in factual / high-end docs.Logistics (local & overseas) : Plan travel, carnets (ATA), visas, permits, insurances, risk assessments, H&S compliance, and on-location contingency plans.Post-production supervision : Coordinate offline / online, colour pipelines (UHD / HDR10 / Dolby Vision), audio (5.1 / Atmos), subtitles / CC, audio description, graphics and archival.Delivery & compliance : Manage deliverables to broadcasters / streamers (e.g., specs such as IMF / AS-11, frame rates, loudness, legal / compliance, cue-sheets, music reporting, rights & clearances).

Data & media management : Enforce secure, resilient data workflowsProcess & QA : Standardise SOPs, call sheets, release forms, risk logs; ensure QC standards are met at every stage.QualificationsGood spoken and written English with Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience managing budgets, schedules and deliveries for factual or high-end documentary productionsStrong communicator, able to collaborate across editorial, production, post, legal and financeTeam player as the job requires close coordination with your fellow producers, assistant producer as well as the production team.Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and working knowledge of production and post tools
