Communication & Marketing Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Communication and Marketing Coordinator with strong expertise in marketing, social media, e-newsletter content creation, and online analytics – as well as excellent communication skills and a passion for all things French.
This role requires a high level of written and spoken proficiency in both English and French.
Responsibilities
Develop Alliance Française Wellington marketing strategy and implement communication plans in collaboration with the Director.
Design communication materials using design software (knowledge of Canva preferred).
Manage AFW's digital communication—update the website (Oncord), edit the monthly e-newsletter, manage social media accounts (Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and run Google Ads campaigns (paid and grant).
Build and nurture relationships within AFW's network of commercial partners and relevant social media communities.
Skills and Requirements
Degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
Over 2 years' experience in communication and social media.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong interest in Francophone culture.
Proficiency in Canva and Google Ads.
Excellent written and spoken French and English.
Employment Details
