Provide advice and purposeful strategic solutions within OfficeMax's range to grow our share of wallet with value-based solutions focusing on growth, retention, and profitability.
You will be assisted by a dedicated sales support team and have the support of a collaborative sales environment.
You will report to the Sector Lead, Trade & Industrial.
Please note, we are open to any South Island location for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for growth and retention of your customer portfolioStrategically partner with key decision makers to deliver exceptional value for OfficeMax and our customersBuild and maintain key relationships, ensuring customer satisfactionMeet or exceed assigned financial targets within the customer portfolioIdentify and convert sales, margin, and growth opportunitiesOversee fulfilment of customer contracts and complianceFormulate and execute business cases for account retention and growthRespond to RFPs and tender requests, including preparing customer presentationsTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveStrong business acumen with the ability to secure commercial contractsExpert negotiation management skillsAt least 5 years' experience in account management rolesAbility to identify appropriate market opportunities and proven sales success dealing with multilevel strategic decision makers (e.g., CFOs, procurement leads, site managers)Excellent communication and facilitation skills including formal presentationsConfidence using cloud-based CRM tools and office applicationsPrevious experience with Trade & Industrial industries would be an added bonusPeople and CultureOur brand is diverse and solutions-focused.
