We are seeking an
Account Manager
to join our
NZ Sales team
on a
Permanent, full-time
basis.
Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you will be the front-line 'Face of GWA' for our key retail customers.
As the Account Manager,you will be managing your territory, identifying business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships to drive sustainable revenue
This role will also see you work on small projects, execute customer plans within your territory and work cross-functionally.
About you
The ideal candidate should possess :
A team player and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Relationship management skills.
The ability to deliver strong visual and verbal presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong decision-making capabilities.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Power BI or Microsoft Dynamics 365 skills are preferred, but not essential.
A background in the Building Merchant or Plumbing industry is desirable, but not essential
Based in Auckland with the ability for regular Regional Travel
About you
You'll bring at least 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role, with a proven ability to drive team performance and deliver results.
You'll also have :
Strong customer service skills with a continuous improvement focus
Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
Analytical and planning ability to support sound decision-making
Experience leading teams in a high call volume environment
Proficiency with MS D365 or a similar operating system
