- Join us as a General Engineer in our Timaru based workshop!
- We are looking for a highly motivated General Engineer to join our Timaru team. As a General Engineer, you will produce parts or tools, fit and assemble them as needed and complete any other fitting / welding works set by your manager.
- In a
- ddition to the above you will :
- Complete various project works / new equipment builds (including in-house design)
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Provide support to on-site crews and their equipment (including fabrication, diagnostics and maintenance)

- We’re
- looking for someone with :
- A NZQA qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining)
- Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 is advantageous)
- Competent in reading & interpreting engineering drawings
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn new skills and most importantly, a good sense of humour
