Lead Analyst - Data Policy & Ops (DNA management)
We are hiring a lead analyst for our DNA management (Data Ops) department that helps all teams in Data analytics and Ai with compliance, governance, self-assessments, audits, policy, process and automation areas of work.
Role & Responsibilities
Strategic Data Management and Governance
- Engage with stakeholders to define and refine problem statements based on business needs
- Translate business requirements into data / analytics solutions
- Track and monitor KPIs of data strategies and related programmes
- Lead data governance implementation and maintenance
- Establish data classification and handling procedures
Policy and Compliance Management
Transform policy requirements into actionable processesValidate and maintain SOPs aligned with compliance objectivesConduct systematic policy reviews and updatesDrive compliance training initiatives for teamsEstablish security baseline standards for systems and applicationsImplement security best practices for data storage and transmissionSecurity and Operations
Implement and monitor security controls across cloud platformsDefine and enforce data access control policiesSupport data operations team in reviewing safeguard processesManage projects that enhance data usability and protectionMonitor and improve operational processesAudit and Compliance
Provide audit support and address RFI enquiriesSupport self‑assessments of systems against policiesCoordinate third‑party security assessmentsAssist with operational and technical compliance checklistsPerform regular compliance gap analysisLead remediation efforts for identified gapsEstablish compliance monitoring and reporting frameworksReport timely on achievements, issues, and progressRequirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT security and complianceBachelor's Degree in Data Science / Informatics / Computer Science / IT / Engineering or relevant fieldsProven expertise in policy implementation and compliance frameworks, with preference for Healthcare and Government project experienceExperience in healthcare systems security, data protection, and privacy regulations is preferredStrong knowledge of data governance, security controls, and data‑driven technologiesProfessional certifications in IT security or compliance would be good to haveKnowledge AWS / Azure Cloud environments and cloud security architecture is advantageousStrong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical subjects for various stakeholdersExperience in managing large‑scale data‑driven initiatives and analytics solutionsSelf‑motivated and demonstrated ability to work independentlyStrong organizational and coordination skills to manage concurrent workstreamsEmbrace growth mindset – think strategically and innovatively, view challenges as opportunities, and demonstrate strong ownership for resultApply Now
