Senior Water Services Advisor

Overview

Waimakariri District is seeking a Senior Water Services Advisor to join the Water Services Unit within our Utilities and Roading Department, based in Rangiora, North Canterbury. This is a 2 year fixed term position with the responsibility of assisting with the implementation of Council's Water Service Delivery Plan, including developing the three-year Water Services Strategy and advising on compliance reporting requirements for economic regulation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with asset managers within the Water Services Unit to deliver asset management projects and develop strategies and plans.
• Take ownership for projects and work closely with other staff across the organisation to deliver high quality water services.
• Support development of strategies, regulatory compliance and asset planning projects.
