English Teacher

Timaru Boys’ High School, Timaru, Canterbury

We are seeking an English teacher to join our passionate and successful faculty for the start term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be a confident and effective classroom practitioner who enjoys working in a team.

Responsibilities

Teach the English curriculum for Years 7–15.
Support the extensive co‑curriculum programme.
Foster a strong values‑based education for boys.

Qualifications

C‑level certification as an English teacher.

Experience in secondary education preferred, but teachers with a range of experience, including new graduates and primary school teachers, are invited to apply.

Participation in the School’s support programme for PCTs.
