Job descriptionManage and oversee all daily operations of the CDE plant, ensuring production and quality targets are consistently met. Monitor plant performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to keep equipment in top shape and downtime to a minimum. Implement and improve operational procedures and safety standards—your leadership will keep the plant running smoothly and safely. Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical or process issues quickly to maintain optimal output. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Manage weighbridge operations, incoming waste streams, and outbound product sales, contributing to the financial growth of the plant by identifying new waste streams and revenue opportunities. Serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and contractors, delivering prompt and professional service at all times. Lead daily yard operations and vacuum truck teams—organising drivers, booking jobs, and building strong client relationships. Collaborate closely with senior management, sharing responsibilities and making things happen. A natural leader who thrives managing teams and complex operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. A problem-solver with a sharp eye for operational efficiencies and quality control. An excellent communicator who can build trust with clients, suppliers, and internal teams alike. Organised, driven, and always looking for ways to improve processes and reduce costs.
