Cabin delivery person

Overview

We are looking for a cabin delivery person ideally located in or near New Plymouth. We also need onsite storage for the cabins at a secure yard or lifestyle block, which we pay $250 plus GST approx per month. We have approx 30 rental cabins in the Taranaki area and growing.

Responsibilities

• Picking up and delivering cabins throughout the Taranaki area from the storage yard
• Cleaning of cabins and any maintenance required
• Site visits and the odd bit of debt collection or dropping off of payment reminder notices
• Must be able to back a trailer like a pro
• Lift drawbar and wheels etc
• Training will be given
• Part time role when required
• Generally around $700 / 900 plus GST per month plus storage
• Mileage rate paid of approximately $1.10 plus per km
• Must have a reasonable delivery vehicle e.g. ute or similar

Notes

There is a requirement for good hands-on DIY skills, reasonably strong and fit to push cabins around onsite, and excellent communication and customer skills.
