About therole
The Plant Operator / Maintenance Officer is responsible for assisting the SiteSupervisor with all facets of the plant operation. This includesmaintenance, dryer operation and mill and storage operationalfunctions. The role is responsible for maximising functionality ofthe grain drier, storage and mill efficiency, and minimising downtime. The role requires multi-tasking with hands-on responsibilityfor ensuring the effective operation of the grain drier andassociated handling equipment; assisting with the operation of the mill; receipt and dispatch of grain (including sundry retail salesthrough the grain store); and receipt, storage and despatch ofseeds, chemicals and other supplies.
