Starting early January
You'll be part of our forensic residential service, supporting tangatawhaiora as they move from inpatient care to living independently in the community.
It's a high-needs service, so you'll need to bring your empathy, calm, and ability to build strong, trusting relationships.
Every day is different, but you might find yourself :
Helping with meals, tidying up, and keeping things running smoothly
Supporting medication and appointments
Heading out for a walk, community activity, or just a chat in the sunshine
Writing notes, doing handovers, and working alongside your awesome teammates
At the heart of it all, you'll be there to support someone's journey to wellbeing — with positivity and patience.
About you | Mou
You'll enjoy doing outdoors activities
You're outgoing, active, and love connecting with people
You're reliable, caring, and bring great energy to your work
Ideally you have the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) or an equivalent qualification
You've got a full driver's licence and a current First Aid Certificate (unit standards
You value and practise the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
