Location : Invercargill (Southland).

Full time position available

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to drive client engagement by managing relationships, generating new sales opportunities and developing a strong and consistent brand image. The successful candidate will be based in our head office in Invercargill and be the face of our company, developing positive relationships with clients and becoming a trusted partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture client relationships within key accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new business through consistent prospecting and networking.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, support, and delivery) to align solutions with client needs and deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
  • Monitor account performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, consistent brand image that resonates with the target audience through client engagement and communication strategies.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and reports to clients and management as required.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.

About You

You will bring a mix of technical understanding, relationship-building skills, and commercial acumen. Ideally, you have :

  • Excellentcommunication skills – able to convey ideas clearly and adapt language for different audiences.
  • Strong client service orientation – proactive in building trust, anticipating needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Sales and business development ability – confident in identifying opportunities, influencing decisions, and achieving growth targets.
  • Networkingand relationship management skills – be comfortable engaging with clients and industry contacts to strengthen partnerships.
  • Good understanding of IT technical terminology
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support and learn from others
  • Approachable, friendly, and service-oriented attitude
