We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover leave. The role is Hamilton based within our Generation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change while working with a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

In this role, you'll enable business transformation by delivering high-quality analysis that drives value and improves performance. You'll act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring solutions align with Mercury's strategic goals. You'll also play a key role in supporting and guiding other analysts as part of our Business Analysis Chapter.

Tāu e mahi ai | What you'll be doing :

  • Deliver business analysis services across agile squads and initiatives
  • Provide coaching and peer support to fellow analysts
  • Apply strong analytical thinking to complex business challenges
  • Ensure deliverables are high-quality and actionable
  • Proven experience in business analysis across adaptive and plan-driven projects
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Experience working in agile delivery squads
  • Experience writing User Stories and BDD
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Agile or IIBA certification a plus)
