Job Description
The role will support the strategic priorities of NUS Medicine and the Strategic Data Insights (SDI) Unit by delivering timely, high-quality data insights to inform planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. You will partner with business units to design and deliver analytical dashboards for both operational and strategic needs, enhance and support the Faculty Data Warehouse (including migration to Microsoft Fabric), and contribute to data governance efforts with NUS IT and central data teams. Success in this role will be measured by the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, stakeholder adoption of insights, and demonstrable impact on evidence-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse data across academic, workforce, finance, and operational domains to uncover trends and insights that support institutional priorities.
Partner with stakeholders to conceptualise, design, and maintain dashboards and reports for core business metrics and KPIs (e.g., in Power BI).
Provide scenario modelling, forecasting, and trend analysis to guide long‑term strategy and annual planning cycles.
Work with vendors, business units, and NUS IT on the successful migration of the Faculty Data Warehouse to Microsoft Fabric.
Collaborate with NUS IT and relevant stakeholders to keep NUS Medicine staff abreast of data governance policies.
Stay current with emerging data technologies, tools, and methodologies.
