We're on the lookout for a skilled Boiler Operator to join our dynamic team at a busy processing site equipped with both electric and gas-fired boilers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are top priorities.As our Boiler Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boiler systems, which play a critical role in powering our site.

You'll work with a mix of electric and gas boilers, ensuring they're operating at peak performance and maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities : Operate, monitor, and maintain electric and gas boiler systems.Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve boiler-related issues promptly.Maintain accurate logs and records of operations and maintenance.Comply with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.QualificationsThe successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role : A proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that production departments experience minimal down time due to engineering requirementsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of priorities and demandsAbility to work well in a team environmentAppropriate experience in a manufacturing environmentEnsures the site operates within its resource consent conditions at all timesA strong commitment to upholding health and safety standardsApplicants may be required to work on a rotating shift structure and must be available for call-outsCandidates must hold a National Certificate in Energy and Chemical operations - boiler operation Level 3.Additional InformationApplicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.If this challenge appeals to you please apply today!
