Our commitment to personalised support is reflected in our 'whatever it takes' wairua and spirit.Increased KiwiSaver contributionFifth week of Annual Leave (after 12 months employment)Paid Wellbeing Days (2 per year)HealthNow Payment Card - $250 per year to support Health and Wellbeing for you and your whanauIn your role as an Alcohol and Drug Practitioner (AOD) in the Health and Wellbeing Team, you will establish meaningful connections with individuals and families, promoting their overall well-being through expert assessment, compassionate care, and ongoing educational development.You will engage in collaborative efforts to enhance the quality of care, where your specialised knowledge is highly valued.As an AOD Practitioner, you will provide assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions for tangata whai or taiohi with alcohol or other drug challenges.This is a permanent and full-time role, Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.Key responsibilities of the role may include : Provide therapeutic intervention & services to improve the ability for whai ora or taiohi to succeed in their personal livesProvide high quality, professional services in all interactionsProvide recovery-focussed & strengths-based intervention, support and recommendationsCollaborate with and refer to internal and external servicesSupport the design, development and facilitation of group-based approaches.You will : Hold a current annual practicing certificate.Have work experience as a AOD Practitioner.Have a full registration with DAPAANZ.Meet the requirements of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (2003).
