We are on the lookout for someone organised and personable to help us with a "Dispatch – Maintenance temporary role, based in Christchurch.

Make an impact in the community by ensuring all reactive maintenance jobs are dispatched efficiently and effectively.

You will be the crucial link between trades and the maintenance team, guaranteeing work is completed on schedule and delivering exceptional customer service during peak call times.

What you'll do :

In this temporary Dispatch Maintenance role, you will ensure the dispatch functions for all reactive maintenance jobs are kept on top off – triaging jobs as they are logge,d your excellent organisation skills and effective communication skills will handle all jobs logged – making outbound calls as necessary and provide information in a well managed and respectful way.

You will have the ability to manage multiple activities such as recording all maintenance work requests that come through the call centre or maintenance inbox, assign works to contractors with relevant maintenance priority times, and track, monitor and report on the status of reactive maintenance.

What you bring :

You will bring an organised approach to your day and a focus on customer services coupled with an ability to document and update records.

Your personable and effective communication skills will enable you to deal with and manage time conflicts.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Excel and Outlook are required.

Experience within housing or a related sector would be advantageous, as would experience dealing with a wide range of queries from a diverse client group.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with housing or a related sector would be an advantage.
  • Experience dealing with a wide range of queries from diverse client group.
  • Experience working with trades or in a maintenance related field is also a nice to have – it will help you understand what is required.
