Mō te tūnga | About the role
NZDF are looking for a Publishing Editor to join the team at Devonport Naval Base. This role focuses on the creation, formatting, distribution, and archiving of official Navy publications that involves both digital and hardcopy document management.Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option for flexible working arrangements to be discussed.Please note : Applications may be reviewed upon receipt. Along with experience in the upkeep and amendment of hard copy and digital publications, you will have the following key skills :
Proven experience in document management and publication systems.
Strong proofreading skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
High computer literacy, especially in Adobe Acrobat, Creative Suite, Framemaker, and Microsoft 365.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
Customer-focused with strong communication skills.

you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
