Technical Business Development Manager - Frame & Truss

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and expand our reputation as a leading manufacturing solutions provider. This is a key leadership role focused on identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities while ensuring our core operations remain strong. You’ll work closely with the Group Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, and Head Detailer to deliver innovative solutions, support technical excellence, and champion continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities across frame and truss, kitset, and offsite solutions.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, Mitre 10 partners, builders, and suppliers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to estimation, design, and production teams.
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance across detailing, estimating, and production.
• Review and improve processes, systems, and workflows for scalability and efficiency.
• Represent Juted Frame and Truss at industry events and customer visits.
• Monitor industry trends and provide insights into new product and market opportunities.
• Champion health, safety, and wellbeing across all operations.
