If you're looking for a workplace where wellbeing and belonging are part of the DNA, you've found it.What you'll do : We're looking for two ambitious graduates to join our Graduate Programme, a two-year journey that will give you hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure across multiple areas of the business.Over two years, you'll complete four 6-month rotations designed to give you a holistic view of Aotearoa New Zealand's energy market : Spot Trading – Learn the fundamentals of the NZ electricity wholesale spot market and how Genesis monetises its generation assets while managing risk.Fuels Strategy – Gain a deep understanding of fuel supply chains and how they interact with the wider business.Derivatives Trading – Explore the fundamentals of derivatives trading in NZ electricity markets, including futures and options, supply-demand drivers, and market-making obligations.Portfolio Management – Understand Genesis' portfolio and how different assets inter-relate.

Gain exposure to portfolio decision-making and governance processes.Each rotation offers the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow, while building the knowledge and confidence to develop your career, for your future, with a permanent role at the end of the programme.Please note that this programme will require the incumbent to be based in our Auckland office and may involve travel to our Hamilton office.What you'll need : We're seeking grads who are proactive, curious, and enjoy working with others.
