Finance and Infrastructure
Finance and Infrastructure is a key enabling function for Toi Ohomai, supporting the development of business capabilities, processes and systems that enable our akonga, organisation and kaimahi to thrive.
This directorate leads financial partnership, infrastructure development, and digital innovation, ensuring our environments are not only safe and compliant, but also future-ready and aligned with the evolving needs of both akonga (learners) and kaimahi (staff).
From uplifting financial acumen and practice to transforming infrastructure (physical and digital), this directorate plays a vital role in creating spaces and systems that support learning, collaboration, and everyday operations.
Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
Drive sustainable growth, manage financial risk, and support long-term planning.
Oversee financial systems, treasury management, and risk mitigation.
Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information.
Foster a high-performing finance team through mentoring and development.
Ensure audit clearance and compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
You bring :
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus CA or CPA membership.
Extensive experience in senior financial management roles.
Proven leadership in developing high-performing finance teams.
Strong knowledge of financial compliance, risk management, and audit processes.
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Maori success.
A passion for equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
