This is a varied role where no twodays are the same - perfect for someone who thrives in a busy and supportivehealthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreetpatients and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner - both in personand over the phone.Manageappointment bookings, patient enrolments, and enquiries with care andaccuracy.Maintainup-to-date patient records, including enrolment data, clinical documents,and correspondence.Supportthe efficient running of the clinic by monitoring waiting areas andassisting with daily operational tasks.Assistwith payments, invoicing (including ACC and overseas patients), andend-of-day cash reconciliation.Providegeneral admin support, including mail, scanning, filing, and minutetaking.Helpcoordinate DHB vehicle use, patient transport, and maintenance requests.Providesupport across other Buller Health sites as needed.What You - ll BringApositive, people-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.Strongtime management and multitasking ability - comfortable working in afast-paced environment.Highlevels of initiative, discretion, and professionalism.Abilityto work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Culturalsensitivity and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its applicationin healthcare.Goodself-presentation and commitment to continuous learning andself-development.Problem-solvingability and a flexible, can-do attitude.Highstandards of accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitiveinformation.Experiencein a health-related or customer-facing administrative role.Knowledgeof Indici or other patient management systems.Abilityto provide extra cover during staff shortages or busy periods.Working at HealthNew ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Orais dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
