Hampshire Property Group is a fast-growing, values driven organisation that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of holiday parks and residential communities Australia and New Zealand. As we continue to grow our footprint in New Zealand, we are looking for a proactive and driven HR Advisor to support our New Zealand Holiday Parks. This is a maternity leave contract until 30 October 2026 with the possibility of an extension.

About the Role

As our HR Advisor , you will provide hands‑on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with the HR Business Partner (NZ) to deliver consistently high‑quality, compliant, and people‑centric HR services.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include :

HR Support & Advice

  • Be the first point of contact for managers and team members seeking HR guidance.
  • Support employee relations matters through documentation, coordination, and note‑taking.
  • Prepare employment agreements and variations using HPG templates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment in partnership with the HR Business Partner and HR Shared Services team.
  • Draft job ads, manage candidate communication, and support interview logistics.
  • Ensure smooth and engaging onboarding experiences for all new starters.
  • HR Systems & Administration

  • Maintain Employment Hero updates and support payroll accuracy.
  • Assist with monthly HR reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Engagement, Culture & H&S

  • Support wellbeing initiatives, recognition programs, and engagement activities.
  • Assist with performance cycles, training, and feedback initiatives.
  • Support Health & Safety reporting and administration.
  • About You :

    You are a confident and enthusiastic HR professional who enjoys supporting others and getting things done. You’ll bring :

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR advisory or generalist roles
  • Strong understanding of NZ employment law
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Solid organisational ability and attention to detail
  • A proactive and approachable attitude
